100% Verdejo Unthinkable, but Menade is a new organic estate! in less than 10 years, Menade is clearly one of the most reliable white Rueda for our clients. And my wife favorite, by the way. Therefore, Menade was the very first estate in rueda to turn organic. Now, they understood completely their vineyards, thanks to the talented Richard. As a result, they are producing new wines from specific parcels. ( la mission, nosso…) Menade Verdejo is surely the most appreciated white on our portfolio.-

Limy franc-clay texture and calcareous-clay composition with a deep sandy rocky sub-soil. High density of plantation on trellis, low yield. Organic fertilization. Environmental integrated agriculture cultivation. Year of plantation: 1975. Winemaking Destemed by hand with a rigorous selection of every grape. Cold pre-fermentative maceration. Fermented in 10 hectolitres oak barrels at 28 ºC. Pressed by foot twice a day. Malolactic in new French oak Bordelaise barrels. Aged 18 months in new French Bordelaise oak barrels. Tasting notes Intense ruby red. Aroma of red fruits (strawberry) in good intensity in conjunction with spice, vanilla and oak notes. On the palate it is fresh, soft, balanced, with the fruit well integrated with the notes of oak, vanilla and light toast. Drinking temperatures: 16-18 ºC -

A serious wine from Montsant, heavy bottle and heavy wine! This blend of Syrah, carignan and grenache has spent 18 months in french oak. the result is in a big, rich wine that acquire elegance and freshness from the carignan grapes. Very good indeed. -

Sierra Cantabria Organza is made from Malvasia, Grenache and viura and it is aged 9 months in barrel. Wihte wine, medium-bodied. very charming with cinnamon and ripe apples aromas. -
Ribera del Duero is home to some great wines with stunning value! this wine is one of them. no tricks, no make up!A lovely young full-bodied red aged 9 months in oak. I open regularly a bottle a home as it evolves pretty well over 3 days, without loosing charm! I just love it. -
Ignacio de La Rica is a smiling man! This fairly new estate is sourcing his grape from one of the highest Village in La Rioja. An important fact, as it is a cooler area the grapes ripen slowly and keep natural acidity even though they are reaching great maturity. El Buscador is a crianza, but also a great medium bodied red, with smooth tannins god fruit concentration and perfect for drinking now! so perfect that it will put a smile on your face, just like the owner. -

The vineyard of Matadula is located in Labastida on chalky and clayish soils. It enjoys a southern exposure, quite useful as it is one of the coolest part of la Rioja. this 100% Tempranillo wine is aged in French oak for 18 months. It is a complex with smooth tannins,smoky and packed with fruit. Great work from Finca de La Rica. Their Nomada is very interesting too! -

Clio is on of the most sought-after wines from Gil Estate. Avaibility is very low. we do not receive more than 20 cases per year! Big wine, yielded from monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon. Highly concentrated, very new worldy. But a must try. -

Stunning wine from Jumilla, organic, full-bodied, and packed with flavours. Raspeberry, smoky, herbs. rich ripe tannins. lovely texture and lingering finish. -
This crianza from Ribera del Duero comes from a parcel called Finca La Colorada, it is composed almost entirely from Tinta del Pais (local Tempranillo) with 5% merlot. 12 months in oak (70% French and 30% American). Everything is done by hands, the vines a bush or Gobelet so they cannot be machine harvested. A full-bodied red, with great complexity on the nose and palate. smooth tannins with some sweet spices on the finish. No need to be kept... -
