Reserva Familiar 2013 is a tremendous sparkling wine full of personality and complexity! Just over 6000 bottles were produced from their top-notch vineyards “Terroja” in 2013. Entirely elaborated from xarel.lo, quite a consequent percentage is aged in Chestnut barrel, a detail that confers a new layer of flavors. Therefore it is difficult to taste such a singular sparkling wine with such interesting aromas :

• Honey, ripe apples

• Spices

• Citric, grapefruit

• Bready

• Muesli, brown sugar

The significantly long bottle aging, in this case an impressive 10 years, offers fine and creamy mousse with a delicate savory feeling. Persistent and flavorsome with a lingering finish.

Obviously, you will better use wine glasses (riedel chianti/riesling would do a great job), and ceviche could be a great option or just marinated salmon with lemon juice, ginger and olive oil.
