Raul Perez is implicated in numerous project in Bierzo and outside. With so many wines in his hands, some  are special to him. La Poulosa is exactly the one in Valtuille for Raul Perez.  A very special and unique parcel that is covered with pebbles, and according to Raul Perez the only one!

At first the wine is totally reduced and no aromas come through! and the palate is tough and rustic… Not a fantastic description, isn’t it? But after 1 hour in a decanter the story is absolutely different.

Dark plums, Violets, ink and leather notes are showing up. But what is more intriguing is how the palate changed. It became elegant, smooth as silk and with a fairly low acidity. Although the wine is not flabby with just 13.5% of alcohol. A beautiful bottle.
