It took us a long time to collaborate with Domaine Fondrèche. Why? maybe we thought (back then) that we were not ready to represent them well enough in Andorra. Therefore, now we are so glad to carry them on our portfolio.
Persia is their flagship cuvée, and it is the 2020 vintage that has blown our mind. The wine is just superb!! (super!, as French people say;-)) . Before anything the nose is very charming, mixing ripe fruit and subtle new oak aromas. Then the mouthfeel seduces you immediately, in an instant. With a rich/mellow texture although full-bodied the alcohol is beautifully integrated and the wine is lingering forever.
A tremendous Mediterranean wine to discover!
