Chassagne, Puligny and Meursault are probably the most renowned and celebrated villages for white wine in the world. Of these, Meursault is the only one with no Grand Cru… Anyway! Others know that, the great Dr Lavalle classified this parcel “Tête de Cuvée”.
Meursault Les Gouttes d’Or is an outstanding 1er Cru (premier Cru), this one from Bouchard père et Fils, would age easily for another 10/15 years. Although it is drinking really well, right now
Honey, white flower, grilled/toasted notes… with a great medium-bodied palate, it is complex and balanced.
Although it needs to be decanted first, 30mn would be enough
