Cromin is a fairly large parcel in Meursault, looking at Volnay. Here the limestone dominate, even though there is some clay at the top.

Charly Fatien is a fairly new comer, and he has a special talent for white wine. If you have not tasted its  Côteaux Bourguignons, produced from old vines Chardonnay, then you are clearly missing something.

Ageing and releasing the wines, when they are starting to be drinkable are two important point for this young winemaker. This Meursault is a text-book one, rich mouthfeel but not heavy, racy and fresh with great complexity : buttery, orange peel, mouthcoating and long.

Don’t share a bottle with too many friends… Simple advice, but true!

Simple, but noble dish, will suit this wine. Turbot, lobster or some rissotos ( especially mushrooms and scallops)
