What a name! bad weed… Malhierba as they are using no chemicals in vineyards. I love it! Simple but efficient.

Silvia Rocher loves to compare Rufete with Gamay. We tasted the wines 1 or 2 years ago, and they are absolutely responding to a new demand from Spanish wine drinker for lighter wines with gentle extraction and little new oak influence. Malhierba is juicy with a bite from its rusticity. It is fermented and aged in chestnut barrel.

Fresh red, ideal served slightly chilled.
