Rafael Palacios is a leading producer in Spain, not just Valdeorras, as he as been recognized as a true magician when it comes to translate the terroir with Godello. Valdeorras is one of the most well-known DO in Galicia with Rias Baixas.

Louro do Bolo is mainly produced with 25 years old godello planted on sandy granitic soils. It is then aged in French Foudres of 35 hectoliters and aged on the lees for 4 months.
