La Rectorie is, and without a doubt, a leading producer in the Roussillon. La bergerie aux abeilles 2019 is such a great buy, very much like a great Montsant or Terra Alta in style!
Full-bodied, dry and solid, yet loads of violet on the mid-palate. Unoaked, easy and totally mediterranean with smooth tannins. it exhibit some dark ripe fruit but also freshness. There is also an highly interesting saline component on the finish.
Serious wine, and ready to drink!
