Recently, while talking with Champagne Henriot they informed us that L’Inattendue is dynamic concept! Let me explain. L’inattendue 2018 will be released in October or November 2024, but although it will carry the same name, the fruits are from a different parcel. As you probably know, since Alice Tetienne has integrated the Henriot’s team a lot of care and work has been done in order to comprehend better all the different available to them. So, the idea for l’inattendue is to select the parcel that shows the best! Thus, Champagne Henriot can exhibit a more artisanal philosophy through a specific bottling. A great way to expose a new approach, through a better and precise understanding of their vineyards.
