Ferrer Bobet Vinyes Velles is a selection of old vines from Porrera (one of the coolest village in Priorat), where carignan plays the major role (84%), and then it is completed by grenache.

The whole range with Ferrer Bobet is highly reliable and very elegant. Extraction is low, the oak treatment is subtle and balanced, and the freshness always there.

Raul Bobet is extremely knowledgeable, and has a lot of experience as a wine-maker. He is also a talented taster. 

This wine is aged in French oak, for at least 15 months.
