Côtes de Provence
A beautiful, light and fresh rosé elaborated with grenache, cinsault and syrah that are mostly planted on granitic and alluvial soils. As you will notice, the delicious pale color tells us that there is a gentle and short contact with the skins.
I have to admit here, as I am color blind, it is almost as if red grapes were disguising themselves as a white wine (Blanc de Noirs). The nose is discreet but still showing some pleasant floral notes, some apricot too and grapefruit is present on the finish.
This could destroy a sommelier in a blind tasting, if tasted with black tainted glass!
Perfect for summer sipping! Especially garlic rich dishes, such as grilled sea food or plancha cooked food.
