Of all the Grands Crus, 33 to be exact, Echezeaux and Grands Echezeaux are well-known, but their village “Flagey-Echezeaux” is not. Echezeaux is just next to Clos Vougeot, and the wines are profound, deep and have an extraordinary ageing potential.

Here up to 60% new oak is used, quite a modern style for Bouchard Père et Fils, although it will beneficiate to be aged a few years in your cellar.

Fine, concentrated and elegant.
