Lovely, medium-bodied Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé usually perfumed and scented. Tannins are polished and smooth.

Also owned by the Vauthier family, (Château Ausone) Chateau Fonbel is delicate, smooth and discreet. It is the perfect red wine to seduce your father in law (if needed) for a sunday lunch.

It has something that recalls the traditional style of Saint-Emilion, but it is totally modern in the sense that it is highly approachable, perfumed and graceful for such a young drop of wine.
