Raul Perez’talent has crossed many barriers. Castrocandaz is one of the many project that Raul Perez is managing, as they are others in Rias Baixas, Portugal, Monterrei, Navarra or even la Rioja. Castrocandaz El Curvado is a different expression of mencia than Ultreia. Here, in Ribeira sacra the soils a sandy and schistous. In Bierzo and more exactly in Valtuille de Abajo soils are usually cooler as they are mostly composed  of chalk and clay.
