Introducing Domaine Louis Dorry

A New Chapter in Southern Burgundy

Rooted in the heart of the Mâconnais, Domaine Louis Dorry embodies seven generations of family heritage in the village of Bussières. Since taking the reins in 2006, Louis Dorry has quietly cultivated 3 hectares of Chardonnay vines, most of them old, deeply rooted in limestone and clay soils.

Farming without herbicides and embracing a philosophy of minimal intervention, Louis crafts wines that speak purely of place—fresh, textured, and profoundly Burgundian.

We’re proud to welcome Domaine Louis Dorry to our portfolio: a reflection of authenticity, stewardship, and deep respect for tradition. This is Burgundy at its most honest—where history, terroir, and winemaking come together with quiet conviction.

Mâcon-Bussières “En prole”
2022 Vintage

A mind-blowing Chardonnay from 90-year-old vines in the heart of southern Burgundy. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and bottled with minimal intervention, “En Prole” is rich and expressive, yet beautifully balanced.

The nose bursts with ripe apple, cinnamon, and white flowers. On the palate, it’s intense and mouth-coating, with a generous texture lifted by vibrant acidity. A wine that’s both exotic and grounded—savoury, persistent, and utterly compelling.

This is Mâcon-Bussières as you’ve never tasted it before.

Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru “La Maréchaude” 2022

From a tiny 0.32-hectare parcel of 60–73-year-old Chardonnay vines, this Premier Cru is a striking expression of Pouilly-Fuissé with depth, poise, and undeniable personality.

Aged for 10–12 months in oak, with just 15% new barrels, “La Maréchaude” offers a beautifully balanced profile—textured and full-bodied, yet finely structured. Notes of citrus oil, toasted hazelnut, and white peach weave through a palate marked by tension and energy.

A fine Chardonnay with presence, precision, and a long, layered finish—this is Louis Dorry’s flagship cuvée and a clear standout from the 2022 vintage.
