Description
Albahra, Envinate
70% GARNACHA TINTORERA – 27% MORAVIA AGRIA-3% GARNACHA TINTA
New reference, great value and totally in the new way Spaniards are elaborating their wines. Less new Oak, less maturity. The result is an easy drinking red, smooth and aromatically fascinating. A treat for your next BBQ, as it could be served gently chilled.
Grapes are grown in 2 different places, but both at high altitude:
-
Garnacha Tintorera in Albacete at 750 m above sea level
-
Moravia Agria near Manchuela, at 800m above sea level
While Moravia Agria is entirely destemmed, Garnacha tintorera is vinified with the whole cluster up to 60%.
Then they are both aged 8 months in Cement tanks and foudres (Large and used oak barrel).
Sulfites are only added at bottling in tiny doses, just to make sure their can travel safely!
