South African wine located in the much cooler wine region of Walker Bay, thanks to the Antarctic current Benguela, Beaumon Estate produces some fine and elegant wines.

This Pintotage has been aged 18 months in oak, with 25% new oak, from vines that are 47 years old.

Restraint nose for a new world wine, with a perfumed nose of dry roses, smoky and a hint of shitake mushroom. On the palate the tannins are soft, and we can denote that the style here is more about finesse that strength. Lactic and spicy (Cloves) finish.

Unusual, refined just a beautiful wine!
