Victorino is one of the top wines from Teso la Monja. Just like Alabaster and Teso La monja itself. Marcos Eguren and his brother have launched this winery right after selling their Numanthia Estate. Now it is the new generation that take care of the Teso La Monja. Eduardo Eguren is a talented wine maker.
Teso la Monja is run biodynamically and the estate focus on old vines. Victorino is a powerful, concentrated red wine. That is already approachable, but will age easily for another 15/20 years. If you are a zinfandel lover, then you should have a go. Victorino always remind me of the great wines from Ridge estate in California (Geyserville, Lytton spring)
Also worth trying is the Almirez and the greatest value of all Romanico
